A Relevant Word For Relevant Times

Don't be overwhemeled by the many ways there are to pray for your spouse. It is not necessary to do all prayers in one day, simply take it one day and one prayer at a time. It is not to be said how much you should pray for your spouse but the Bible says that "he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully" (2 Corinthians 9:6). The more you pray the more benefits you will reap. Prayer changes all things!
His Priorities
(a prayer for your Husband)
God, I proclaim you Lord over my life. Help me to seek you first every day and set my priorities in perfect order. Reveal to me how to properly put my husband before children, work, familiy, friends, activities, and interests. Show me what I can do right now to demonstrate to him that he has this positon in my heart. Mend the times I have caused him to doubt that. Tell me how to prioritize everything so that whatever steals life away, or has no lasting purpose, will not occupy my time.
I pray for my husband's priorities to be in perfect order as well. Be Lord and ruler over his heart. Help him to chose a simplicity of life that will allow him to have time alone with You, Lord, a place to be quiet in Your presence everyday. Speak to him about making Your Word, prayer, and praise a priority. Enable him to place me and our children in greater prominence in his heart than career, friends, and activities. I pray he will always seek You first and submit his all to You, for when he does I know the other pieces of his life will fit together perfectly.

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. PHILIPPIANS 2:4

You shall worship the Lord your GOD, and Him only you shall serve. MATTHEW 4:10
Her Priorities
( a prayer for your Wife)
Lord, I lift up my wife to You today and ask that You will be in charge of her life. Show her how to seek You first in all things, and to make time with You her first priority everyday. Give her the widsom to know how to efficitively divide up her time, and then to make the best use of it. Show her the way to prioritize her responsibilities and interests and still fulfill each role she has to the fullest. Show her how to find a good balance between being a wife, being a mother, running a home, working at a job, serving in the church and community, and finding time for herself so that she can be rested and refreshed. Release her form the guilt that can weigh her down when these things can get out of balance. In the midst of all that, I pray that she will take time for me without feeling she is neglecting other things. Give her the energy and the ability to accomplish all she needs to do, and may she have joy in the process.
Lord, I pray that You would help my wife to make our home a peaceful sanctuary. Regardless of our financial state, give her the wisdom, energy, strength, vision, and clarity of mind to transform our dwelling into a beautiful place of refuge that brings joy to each of us. I ask You to lift from her the burden of caring for our home and give her peace about it. Show me how I can encourage and assist her in that.
Holy Spirit, I invite You to fill our home with Your peace, truth, love, and unity. Keep it safe, and let no one enter our home who is not brought here by You. Through wisdom let our house be built, and by understanding may it be established. By knowledge may the rooms be filled with all precious and pleasant riches (Proverbs 24: 3,4). Reveal to us anything that is in our house that is not glorifying to You, Lord. I say that "as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15).
Give my wife the grace to handle the challenges she faces each day, and the widsom to not try to do more than she can. Teach her to clearly recognize what her priorities should be and enable her to balance them well.
